Does anyone know anything about whether it might be possible to scrap the OS that comes with this device, and install something like a simple Linux OS, instead. The problem is that Archos stops supporting their devices as soon as they introduce a new generation, and this thing is stuck with, for example, a Flash Player version 9, and is no longer compatible with sites like YouTube. Also, the browser that came with it (an extra) is very limited, and very, very slow.
