Missile Command VGA replacement display OK?

Forum Computer Peripherals : CRT Monitors Missile Command VGA replacement display OK?

Hello,
My 1980 Missile Command upright monitor died. Would it work to connect the MC's 6 pins (R,G,B, GND, H-Sync, V-Sync)into the corresponding input pins of a VGA monitor's standard connector using only a (custom) adapter cable?

Hello I'm really excited to finally find a Forum like this one. Hope you guys can help me on this one.
currently I own a Missile Command upright machine I've had it since 1992 but for one reason or another I haven't been able to make it work for more than a cople of weeks.
In the beggining I had a bad Motherboard But luckily I found one on ebay. it worked fine until my monitor died on me a couple of weeks after.

recently I bought an adapter:

but I was unable to make it work. (Missile Command on VGA Monitor).
do any of you guys know where I can find a monitor or a special cable to help me on this problem.
thanks for any help.
