Hello, similar issue to this, but when I plug my MP3 in via USB, the MP3 switches on ok, but there is no indication at all on the PC that it is connected. i.e. no 'not recognised' message, no options window to ask what to do such as synchronise/view files etc., and not listed as a drive in My Computer.
It has worked fine previously on this laptop, and other MP3s are recognised ok.
