If I buy an MP3 player (exclusively for automobile - thru an audio jack), and I load it with 1000 songs - how does the player select the music to be played? Does it begin with song number one and continue through to song number 1000 - if I left it on?

Do they have a provision for 'random selection' - if I chose to do that?

The only purpose for the MP3 player will be car stereo use on long drives.

Any suggestions as to the make and model - along with attachements I will need to purchase? I believe I'll need at least 8MB?
