Hello,
I recently hooked up my laptop to my Magnavox LCD tv with a HDMI cable. It worked great.....then i unplugged it from my laptop and when i plugged it back in i don't get a picture on my tv. Do i need to reset something...? I have unplugged, plugged back in, turned on and off and i get nothing.

Yes, you need to go to your display settings and add a display as a duplicate or extended display for your second screen or have it your primary, whatever you prefer.

Try pluging your tv to your loptop first then reboot with the tv already turned on.

I have had the same problem as a lot of people and tried various things but nothing worked-but did exactly what you advised and great it worked-so simple if you just know how!
