Hello, we have an older panasonic HDTV..model 1080i. We have a dvd player and surround sound connected. We also have Dish satellite. Our Dish box is an HD box, and I am trying to connect cable, technician said connect from HD box..port that says HDMI, however the cable end is too small to connect into back of tv on bottom? IS there a certain adaptor I need, and is this correct? Thank you

If your TV does not have an HDMI input you will have to connect it with component video and audio cable.
