I've been using SageTV on my PC running a HVR-2250 for a DVR with Dish Network for years now. I was thinking about switching to Insight, as that's who I have internet service through. I don't understand much about things running 'in the clear' and all that. Will I have a problem switching to cable TV? Didn't know if I could still record shows for playback later with how encoding works. Thanks for any help!

(I did ask on the Sage forums, but ended up more confused. And emailed Insight, but no reply.)
