Hello,
I have searched high and low for a solution but to no avail.
I am trying to connect a media centre PC via HDMI directly to a Panasonic TV or projector but am getting no signal at all.
Here is what I have tried through both a Pana TV and Projector
1) Connection to both via VGA works fine
2) Connection to both via a Panasonic amp using HDMI works fine
Just by doing this I have ruled out any issues with the cable or drivers.
This is fairly frustrating as it only seems that a direct connection HDMI to HDMI will not work.
With the PC directly connected to the HDTV, try booting into safe more to see if you get an image. Make sure the PC is set to display the native resolution of the HDTV.

Yes I have given this a go and still to joy. Interestingly enough I have loaded up Linux on this PC and low and behold no HDMI issues. This is definetly a Windows 7 thing.
I have read of other people with HDMI issues over Windows but have not seen a fix.
I'm pretty sure it's just a resolution issue as I have my HTPC connected to both my HDTV and projector. I'm really surprised that safe mode didn't give you an image.
