ie: Samsung HL-S5086W 50-Inch DLP HDTV

i have this tv i'm trying to repair... was in my basement consumed in cig smoke for years. moved out of that environment, completely clean out and still have these fading blackish lines and top and bottom and almost a blurry like picture. the bulb looked good. i'm sure there is a part failure, i just don't know what part and/or board is damaged. i imagine the smoke built up on a board, making it get too hot and burning up/out. i have attached a picture showing my picture result... any advise from an expert would be much appreciated.
