Hello, I am in desperate need of help - I am trying to connect and efficiently operate (watch both TVs and be able to easily switch audio/video) between two HDTVs in the same room. This is my current equipment
- Two Panasonic TC-P50S30 Plasmas (2 HDMI - 1 Opt)
- Two Direct TV Receivers
- Yamaha Audio Receiver (4/1 HDMI / One Opt)
- 1 LG BD670 Blu-Ray (only view on one TV)
Thanks for any assistance/diagrams out there, Don

the easiest to use setup is probably to have the video feed go directly to the tvs and to have just the audio feed going to your receiver.

If you want the ability to send all sources to all TVs and receiver in any combination you will need an HDMI matrix switch with at least 3x3 capability if you want the audio to the receiver to also select via HDMI.
Otherwise I would use a HDMI distribution amp on the Bluray to send AV via HDMI to both TVs and receiver. Then hook up one Direct TV to each TV via HDMI and use the digital audio outs to feed the receiver.
That allows most combinations and is less expensive.
