Hi Everyone,
My PC crashes anytime when im working and it doesnt restart but shuts down. I have to manually press the power button.
I found the following error message in eventviewer:
Source: Service control manager
category: None
Error message: "The general purpose USB driver(adildr.sys) service failed to start due to the following error.
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices
associated with it"
Please Help.

It could signal a bad device that you have rigged into the computer via USB. Do you have any devices attached?

Can you access TH on your smart phone?

While I can't help you solve your problem you may help me solve mine. One of my home computers is shutting down unexpectedly. As a result of your post I'm going to check out Event Viewer to see if that will tell me what is happening. Thanks.
