The interface doesn't make the most difference. The difference comes in the features/buttons on the mouse. You'll also want one that conforms nicely to the hand.

some mice you can have the best of both worlds.

Most of the mid-high end range gaming mice coming out are wireless but rechargable through USB. so you can either use it wirelessly or have it plugged in...

Do not go with one that uses AA batteries, you will burn through them if you game like I do.
