I have a webcam "Star" brand but I lost the CD how can I re-install it to my laptop

If it's USB it might work using Windows inbuilt drivers. If not obviously Google the model number. You might find something on www.driverguide.com but decide whether it's worth paying for a driver when a new webcam will cost peanuts.
