Hi all

I have 'Compaq mv540' which stopped working at all, there is nothing wrong with the PC as newly buyed ViewSonic is working very well. But now I want to repair the old 'Compaq mv540' as it is quite old (2003) should I seek for any solutions from authorized dealer? or should I carry it to local TV repairing shop? I would be very glad if I could avoid both situations and get some help from here so that I can get it repaired at my own.
