how do i make the dell inspiron 1150 wireless?> is it a chipset issue..if so how do I fix this?

it's got nothing to do with the chipset.
you would need to install an internal wireless card, install the software and drivers for the card and then you can run wirelessly. or you can get an external usb wifi adapter and connect using that as your wifi antenna.
