Why does microsoft not build an OS that you can boot over a NIC like you can with linux, this would be really usefully, if you have read the article about the preinstall version of windows XP they could bulk it up a little adding additional support for network and graphics cards. Many companies would find this method useful as I have spoken to a few people about this.
But wait microsoft would not make as much money because people would pay for one copy.
I may have missed something but i do not believe there is a version of windows that boots remotely.
what with there spyware, and attemps to control the internet, or was that the us government!
linux is looking better everyday!, if it wernt for useing ntfs files ystem i would like it! (as i had a problem with windows and linux on the same hard drive.)
but hey its shown by m$ in how they dropped support for win98se (as thats the only os with no spyware)
well iv ran adaware and it says theres no spyware cept for a cookie or two.
in the end m$ wants to drop support for win2k as well!
sorry i may not be the best at telling it in a convinceing way but i do know some one that can,
