just wondering can i transfer the data from my Packard Bell ixtreme X5620(M3720) to my Packard Bell imedia i4523 using the system image created for my ixtreme.

No. If you use an "image" the only thing you can do is restore it onto a system fully which will wipe out whatever is on that drive.

Just copy the data over using an external drive or something.
