I have a pc line card reader that worked OK with xp windows, but my new windows 7 computer will not recognise it.
Windows help is of no use. Typical Microsoft, new system, old hardware and software will not work. This has happened to me many times since I started with windows controlled computers over 20 years ago, I have draws full of stuff that will not work with each windows so called improvment.
Any ideas other than buying a new card reader.

Different USB port? Some card readers came with a software disk....usually you didn't need it, but maybe for some odd reason under windows 7 you do?
