I just bought the Bose wave Radio in US and I am getting my next assignment in india. Will this radio system work in all countries

Why don't you ask Bose if can? If not then buy an adapter that converts whatever voltage / frequency in India to what the US uses (115v, 60Hz).

i wouldnt modify the actual radio, just modify the input going into it to the right voltage, amperage, frequency. modifying the radio is just a bad idea.
