Connecting Compaq CQ50215nr to wide screen TV by VGA cable. The whole desktop is displayed on the TV but is off center to one side. Can not seem to correct or find any one with this problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you tried the 'Horizontal' adjustment? Also take a look at setting it to defaults.
