Hello,
My audio has disappeared from my emachine. I can no longer hear sound and don't see any sound driver installed. I have my set up disks and was wondering, if I just install the first disk and reinstall the drivers will it mess anything up. Do I have to completely reinstall all 4 disks and loose my info. I don't know how to back up my computer first.

You just re-install your audio drivers only! You will get your sound back!
