I have quite a few lens for my old 35mm cameras, some are screw mounts and some are bayonet mounts, can these lens be used on the newer digital cameras

They can with an adapter with a few caviots.
First, if the mount is different, the adapter may require corrective glass which will reduce quality.

Second, you may lose functionality. If the "analog" lens supported digital focus or other controls, it may not work with the camera anyway, or work poorly.
