Can you find the name of a person or the computer a jpeg picture has been sent?

Welcome to Tom's hardware Forums!

Look at the header information. It will give you the IP address of the computer from which the message/jpg was sent from. Usually it is fairly accurate as far as the location is concerned.

For exact information about the person's name and address you will have to contact the ISP along with a court order.
