I have a finepix S1500 digital camera nothing will display on the back monitor. I have to look through the electronic view finder to see menu, pictures already taken etc. what can I do to get it back to the monitor screen. And yes the lens cover is off.

I suggest that you download the manual. There will be a setting that shuts off the rear display for power savings and longer battery life. Change the setting to both display as well as view finder.

These days, digital cameras are like mini computers (they do have a chip in them). Not complaining; I like the flexibility, and the wide array of options.
