Forum Systems : Packard Bell EasyNote Laptop Hotkey setup

First of all I am new to this forum and I thought I had already posted my query but can't find it anywhere so if this is a duplicate please accept my apologies.

I have recently inherited an old Packard Bell EasyNote QUA-K1 laptop.

It works well but I have just changed the browser and installed it as the default browser.

Above the keyboard there are four lights, two round buttons and an oblong on/off button. The right hand of the two round buttons used to launch the browser but no longer does and I cannot find any way to change the settings for that button.

I have also looked everywhere to download a user guide - any ideas?

hey, have you checked that the driver is installed for the hotkeys? I know sometimes if the driver is not installed then it might not work. You should be able to go onto the Packard Bell site and get the driver from there.

Hope that helps :D

Thanks for your response.

I don't think it's anything to do with drivers. I had installed a different browser to the original and that is when I lost the hotkey operation. When I uninstalled the new browser and returned to the old one everything was ok - spooky!
