I'm looking at purchasing a Gateway DX4831-01e from Best Buy. I fine with the configuration/features of the pc except for the graphics which is integrated instead of dedicated. I've read where an individual may not want an integrated graphic solution if they are a gamer. The PC is for my wife who uses the PC for E-mail, internet surfing, viewing news videos on line (not watching movies), and photo editing (Photo Shop Elements). If she does play any games it is the basic games that came with Windows XP (spider, free cell, etc.).
Would this provide a good solution for what she does? Does the PC allow for an upgrade to a dedicated graphic card if needed?
From the specifications that I have seen, the Gatewat DX4831-01e is very good for everything that you listed. If your wife is only going to play games like Spider, Free Cell etc., you will not need to upgrade your graphics card.
