2. Run iPod Video converter component. And load the video files you'd like to convert by clicking 'Open file' button.

Tips: Before converting, you can click 'Advance -> Video settings' to set 'Video format', 'Resolution', 'Framerate', 'Output Quality'. As usual, we set "Resolution" as "320x240" (i.e. default settings), certainly you can also choose other video sizes you like.

3. After converting, you can open the output folder to check and play the iPod video files (.mp4 or .mov) using Quicktime Player (Freeware, Quicktime Player+iTunes downloading address http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html ).

4. Transfer the iPod videos to iTunes by draging or clicking "File -> Add File to Library". Now, you can enjoy them on iTunes. Then hit "File -> Update iPod" to sync to your iPod.

Troubleshootings (Windows)
1. Why occour a message: 'MPEG2Dec: Error during decoder initialisation' or 'unable to read from E:\VIDEO_TS\vts_01_1.vob' everytime I put any DVD in?
Check that you select the correct DVD driver. If not, please select the correct DVD driver path.

2. Audio is out of sync with the video or no audio
There are several posts which says audio is out of sync with the video or no audio at all when they used videora ipod converter, cucusoft dvd to ipod converter or pqdvd dvd to ipod video converter. It seems that there is no software can work well for ALL users and ALL DVDs.
In fact, you might as well resolve the problem trying the following one by one.
A. DVD to iPod Converter: Click "Setting -> Input settings".
(a) Check "Audio/Video Synchronisation".
(b) Set "Deinterlace filter" to "None".
(c) Set "Output frame rate" to other values.
B: iPod Video Converter: Click "Advance", change 'framerate' to 23.976 or 29.97 in 'Video settings'.
If it doesn't work, might as well change a DVD movie to test.

What file formats does the 2nd gen Zune players support? Will it support MPEG-4 and H.264 such as iPod?

Zune v2 supports WMA, MP3, AAC, JPEG,WMV, MPEG-4, H.264 formats.

I got an iPod Touch for some days, and its been working great until recently. It just turns itself off in the middle of a song and all the date and time information gets screwed up. I tried restoring it, but that didn't work. I tried restoring it with a new sync than I had been using before and it said that it could write or something like that. I don't know what the problem is, the battery meter says that its got plenty of battery life left and it still does it.

My itouch switches off during song playback, too. The battery reads fully charged. It will work for a few minutes then die. Turn it back on and it goes to main screen. I tried restoring but it did not help.

I recently upgraded my powerbook to OS X 10.4.11, i have the newest version of itunes and i believe the usb ports are 2.0. do i need more to connect my ipod touch? when i connect it the ipod responds but lighting up, but doesnt do anything but just activate like i turned it on. it doesnt connect or charge or anything. i am using the usb connector that came with the ipod too. if anyone has advice i'm all ears. thanks.

I got a new ipod, and i downloaded songs from my computer but it wont let me get music from other peoples computer! is it a new ipod security thing or is there a way i can get music from other computers. and my ipod wasnt on the sync music setting.

You need to authorize the computers you want to get music off of. Go to where it says "Store" up top and "Authorize Computer". Does the ipod touch play m4a music files? my ipod video does, but idk about the touch. In itunes it always comes up as M4a, and i know the ipods all play AAC, but i didnt know that AAC was M4A. i guess i should've known. i was confused because i had ripped all the songs off my video because i am getting a touch. half of the songs were M4a.

Alright i downloaded the movie 8 mile and the wedding crasher and i m trying to put it in itunes so i can watch it on my ipod classic. But i do the drag and drop and it doesnt work. when i drag it into the movie section, and i drop it, nuthin happens. my music videos and my other movies worked but not this one. and i converted it to mp4 format.

maybe you should convert the video to the mp4 again. just try to convert it again.
