i have a compaq persario pc and im wanting to upgrade it here are my stats

compaq perario sr5130nx

processor:
amd athlon TM 64 X2
duel core processor 3800+
-----------------------
memory: hardrive: 200gb.... nvidia geforce: 6150
1024

i just need it to play games with verly little graphics problem i know the graphics card and the memory are first but what should i buy? how much would it cost to get it up to par with some good machines? if its even possible

For RAM something like this would work. Suggest you get 2 x 1GB for 2 GB, best to have them matching. Could always use your existing RAM for backup. Que is right re video card, depends on what you can spend.
