How much did you pay for it? Take a few hundred off that price and you should get a pretty reasonable price.

In other words (hypothetical):
You payed 1600 and used it. Subtract around 300-400 and put it up for sale(try e-bay unless you have a buyer in mind). If you try to sell it for the original price, people will get mad because of it's used state (not a good sales practice).

i didnt buy it... it was given to us as a replacment as our old pc was faulty. So is it possible to put an estimate price on it? i was hoping for 1000+. do you that is a reasonable price?

OK. I just went to Dell's site and configured a 9200 to about the same specs. The one I configured had faster RAM but didn't have an X-fi option so they about balance out. The total came to about 1600. All told, I think around 1100-1200 would be a reasonable asking price.

Ah thanks!

One more question... what would be the best way to sell it? Should i ebay it? or are there other better methods?

Thanks for the replies.

Yeah, I would do a buy it now on e-bay for the computer. Or you could try to sell it locally. Don't do a trade in at a local shop. They would probably only give you half of the original price at most.

Yeah, you might be able to do that though I am not 100% positive. Try it and see if it works, if not buy a new copy.

No, I didn't realize you were using british currency. The 1600 was USD. My bad. You could probably sell it for 800 in your currency.
