My Galaxytab 10.1 juts got update for Android market 1.1.0, which is dated January 25,2012. However, googling shows that there are Android market 3.x.x already. Why do higher version already exist, while the latest version has lower no?

It's probably just a matter of what device and service you have. If you want the newer one, you may be able to manually download the app http://www.mediafire.com/?8gs45aszuqcpjx2

But first make sure it won't break anything.
