Hello,
Not sure of the number of my GARMIN nuvi. I do see IPH-0142 and 10R-024462 on the bottom of the equipment. My question is updating maps. Is that done automatically or do I need to update via my laptop? If so how to do it?

Register or log in to remove.

It is often done by attaching the GPS to the laptop/PC and downloading the maps and installing them on the GPS.

If you go to the Garmin website there should be a guide on there instructing you as to how to do this.
