please tell me what is the maximum distance used for data transfer between 2 mobiles

Don't know. Maximum range is 100m but the signal is degraded by a lot of other factors so you never get the theoretic max range. The only way to test it is to pair them up and walk away and if the pairing drops, that is the max range (even the max range you measured can also change over time because condition changes over time).
