Hello ,
my device is not starting up windows xp home , and asking me for rebooting ,any body canhelp taking into consideration the the device has no cd/dvd

Exactly what is happening, how far does it boot? Does it start in SafeMode? Any sounds coming from the hard-drive? If it does not have an optical drive, you can make a USB XP setup disk. http://downloadsquad.switched.com/ [...] with-wint/

This may be a drive issue though, check the BIOS for a drive scan option, and also the PC vendor for a utility to scan the drive. You'd want to make sure the drive is OK before trying to re-install Windows. Or just buy a new hard-drive and install on that.

Hi ,
I'm facing a problem with my gigabyte m 704 as it does not stert up windows xphome edition instead a black screen is displayed asking me : Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key.

If you have any CDs or flash drives in the PC, remove them, try again. Also get into the BIOS check to see if the drive is seen and is in the startup options. If neither worked you may want to try a new hard-drive.

I used a memory flash to reinstall windows xp to my device and it works !! thank you
