SMS, email and open it on the phone, post it on the web and save it on the phone from there. There are probably a bunch of apps that will connect to online sites for images.

You can email yourself an MMS. You'll just need to format the image to a size your phone can understand.

Do you mean you want to save an image from Internet? Just choose that picture and save into your mobile phone.
