Hello,
My HP Pavilion DV6 with AMD Turion Dual Core M500+ in idle mode is around 150 Celsius and when doing video editing it is at 200 Celsius, can someone help me with this problem: here is a link to a screen shot of Speed Fan... http://www.flickr.com/photos/57034234@N04/5982529003/

I should also note that laptop is still turning on at these temperatures and my notebook cooling stand has melted but the laptop case is fine

That's way too high. I'd clean out your laptop fan, make sure it's running fast enough and check that the internal cooler has a solid connection with the processor. You might damage your video card DAC and get wavey output if you keep running at those temperatures
