I need to send SMS from my online application (developed in PHP5 hosted on a Linux server) through the local service provider. I can not use international SMS gateways as its from a Governemnt authority.

The local service provider has issued me SMSC IP, TCP Port Number, System ID and a 4 digit authentication code associated with a local post paid mobile number. As per the service provider I have to use this information to send SMS from my application but I haven't been given any API that I can use to send sms.

The customer service of the local provider is not so good and I cant get any more information.

Is there any way to send SMS using SMTP or some other way having SMSCIP, port number and the authentication code?
