Wavecom/Sierra Wireless goes around the world on 2 motorbikes.

Hi!

We put Wavecom/Sierra Wireless device with GPS to 2 motorbikes that drive around the world. Currently they came from New York from Europe.

Could anybody from New York or near using Hyper Terminal send AT command to modem to connect to american GSM band?

Only thing that is needed is Wavecom serial cable and notebook with HyperTerminal.

On both Wavecom Supreme Fastrack modems should be executed AT command:

AT+WMBS=7

Communication speed on COM port is 115200.

These 2 guys on motorbikes will drive around whole America, then Asia.

Please let somebody help us enabling US GSM frequency band by entering following that AT command.
