OMAP4 Dev Board Testing

Hey everyone,

I've just purchased an OMAP4 dev board (the Pandaboard, to be specific), and I'm trying to make it a little more versatile for mobile use.

I dislike typical Android tablets and iOS tablets as I view them as just big phones rather than small computers.
I want a more versatile keyboard, Motorola Sidekick style. Purchasing a compatible touchscreen + 4 pin touchscreen controller would've set me back a couple hundred bucks, kind of defeating the purpose of building my own. I have an old 12.5 inch monitor which I'm in the process of rigging to the top of a 13 inch keyboard which will be placed underneath with some kind of sliding rack. The mouse will probably be any old wireless mouse, something like this:

I'm working on cutting an enclosure that'll fit the not-so-slimline size of the dev board, keyboard, and monitor (about 5 inches).

The operating system is currently 10.4.1 LTS, but I'm working on trying to integrate an Android platform with the new Natty Narwhal, for even more mobile versatility. Hardware acceleration is also being worked on but is a little more difficult. I'm also hoping that Ice Cream Sandwich will be more of a computer OS than a tablet OS and I'll be able to use that.

I'm wondering if anyone else is out there that has a Pandaboard that would be interesting in helping out or if anyone has criticism or advice. I'm open to any suggestions.
