Hello, I own the hp tx1120us touchscreen laptop. Rescently I've wanted to expand the storage capability of the system. I'm going to replace the standard 160gb main drive with a wd raptor 320gb drive.

I read the article a few months back on the optibay for mac computers, and have done some research on pc based solutions that are similar, such as the multibay from lenovo.

My question pertains to these devices interfaces. I would like to use the lenovo, which I found in slim and ultraslim options on amazon.com, as it uses a sata interface. this would allow me to add a wd 320gb drive.

I just dont know if my cd/dvd drives interface will work with these devices.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
