Hi,

Just purchased a used R1 and am looking for a manual. Or someone who
can tell me what the "linear" button does. Seems like when it's out
some kind of loudness circuit is switched in. When it's in, loudness
and volume both seem to go away. Anyone know anything about this model?

Thanks,

Jason

Hmmm. Interesting. Could the "linear" button simply be a "stereo
direct" button, bypassing any processing, loudness, or tone controls?
Just a wild guess...
