I just ran out of Audio-Technica Stylus cleaner (AT607). What do this group
use to clean and where can you get it? I have an Ortofon cartridge.

Howdy Joe, While I'm not sure just how easy it is to get AT Stylus
cleaner, you can buy other brands that will work every bit as good, if
not better.

I myself have been using LAST Stylus cleaner with prefectly good
results.

I've seen lately now, that there's something new kicking around, and its
like a gel pad that the stylus needle is dunked into. Sounds
interesting!

Go to: www.amusicdirect.com and while you're there sign up for a new
free catalog from them.
You won't be disappointed at the amount of very nice products they sell.

They sell tons of stuff for the Analog lover, and I've personally done
business with them countless times. Mark

I used to use LAST Stylus Cleaner, which is available through many different
online vendors for routine everyday cleaning. However, for an even more
effective product, IMHO, I'd recommend the Disc Doctor's Stylos Cleaner. You
can read about this product, as well as his excellent brushes and cleaning
solution at

Hi,

I use ZERODUST, which is a non-fluid cleaner and a better product for my ZYX
element. Available at musicdirect.com I guess.

Flexible bristled hair artist's brush dipped in (as pure as you can get)
iso-propanol, just avoid getting near the cantilever. I have also been
cleaning my LPs before transfer to CD-R with iso-propanol with no ill
effects to either styli or LPs.
