Hello, can any body help me? I have a lacie 1tb external hard drive full of movies and i would like to watch them on my samsung tv. Is it a matter of a cable connection or is there something more elaborate. Cheers Andy

If you have a Samsung with USB 2.0 player build in TV,you connect the USB cable from your external hard drive to TV and it should apear on tv Media play ,you hit ok and then the content from your hard drive it will be diplayed on the screen. I watch movies in the same way ,my external drive is Seagate Expansion 1TB and tv is Samsung 40C5000.
