Is their a reason NOT to use Microsoft Windows XP Media Center 2005
Edition OS in a new DAW studio? This will likely be a strictly
audio-only computer, but are there limitations to this OS, or only AV
strengths? Specifically, I am considering the Sony VAIO VGC-RA830G for
the computer:

3.4Ghz
Intel 915 P chipset
$1575 with good connectivity
Bad: only supports up to 2GB RAM
Processor is "not upgradeable"

FWIW, it will be used with a yammi DM1000 and MOTU 2408.

Cheers,
Oddio Guy
