More Information

Some other post here sums it up - install software, plug in device, and the USB plug/unplug sound rapid fires like a disco record. No luck in syncing at all.

I call Palm and the 'support' person says it's the cosftware and that he'll mail me a new CD-ROM. I ask why, in this electronic age, he cannot email me the software, and he says it's just policy. Takes down my addy and we hang up.

The next day, freshly prepared to hassle another Palm 'support' person about not emailing me the drivers, I call again. The 'support' person says there's no record of my call, and no CD-ROM has been sent. She begins to walk me thru the process of repairing. I say WHOA and at that point decide it's time to send back this unit to NewEgg.

I'll give an update when the new one arrives...

Yick
