my touchpad got deinstalled on plugging of mouse.i have win 7 loaded on hp laptop.how to reactivate it?

Look for the touchpad driver of your HP laptop on the HP website. Make sure to download the ones for Vista, as recommended by Microsoft.

get the full driver from hp and you can set it up to switch back and forth when you plug and unplug the mouse
