Hard drive won't shut down completly.Sounds like fan still trying to run really slow, plus light keeps flashing quite dimmly on tower. Any one have any suggestions as to what the problem could be?

win your BIOS, what power settings do you have set? also what power settings are set in windows... it could be that it is set to suspend or suspend to ram instead of shutdown.
