Forum General UK & Ireland Discussions : Importing from USA to the UK

Hey Guys,

Couldn't really find a relevant area for this topic so i threw it here.

I'm trying to order some items from the USA version of amazon (not even available on the .co.uk site) however they don't ship to the UK. Anyone know of any companies that will allow me to order the goods to their site and they forward it onto me for a fee?

Thanks,

Tom.

dont know any but you have to be carefull about import duty--should customs pull your package you may get a large import tax--i think unless its a gift or an rma these rules apply

whats the items that you cant get in the uk?

use sites like:
ebuyer.com
dabs.com
aria.co.uk
overclockers.co.uk
scan.co.uk
novatech.co.uk

the best out of those for me are dabs, ebuyer and novatech because they provide free Postage!

they are all UK based sites so if you have to return something because something is faulty you won't have to shell out £20+ to ship the item back to the US!

[EDIT]: whopps i missed out eBay.co.uk and Amazon.co.uk

How does that help when the OP stated that the product in question is not listed on Amazon.co.uk?

Which is why you added Amazon in an edit? That's why I questioned.

You do have a point with the other sites if it is a computer related component but the random nature of questions down here you never know. Maybe the OP would like to let us know just what his is after.
