anyone have any experiences of using this DVD-RW, DVD-R burner?

Personally im staying WELL away from DVD burners until
A. the prices gets below 500 AU dollars.
B. They sort out once and for all the confusion with DVD-R/+R/RW/RAW etcetcetc and have one or two unified formats.

My thoughts exactly! However, a friend of mine recently purchased one that supposedly should support all these standards. But it also cost a premium!

i agree, i was tempted to ask about this burner though as it's so low in price, and does CD-RW and DVD-RW...

it's 180 british pounds, or 498 Australian Dollars

(or 279 US Dollars hehe)

personally that's the cheapest i've ever seen a DVD burner, and being a Pioneer, it can't be too bad quality

but yeah, even this low price isn't enough to make me join the burning community, cause i bet i'd buy the standard which "looses" in the end
