Well, I've been playing around with the first beta over the weekend, and I have to admit, I do like it.

It's very Vista, but it definitely feels like more than a service pack. Had absolutely no compatibility problems yet with either hardware, software or drivers. In general if it works in Vista it works in 7.

Just been playing Audiosurf on Steam and to tell you the truth, I think I can crank up the settings a touch higher than I could in Vista. Not sure if this is down to the OS's efficiency or the fact it's a clean install, or that I've gone 64bit.

In general, it seems very stable and more efficient than Vista, although no doubt people will still moan about Aero, and it's RAM usage.
