More Information

Found out about this at a review site for digital video equipment and software. Went to Sony's site and found this information, heres the link

http://www.sonystyle.com/home/item [...] 715&catid=

This thing is is cheaper then thier current DVD+RW(DRU120A) drive by $50, but the DVD+RW(DRU120A) drive comes with a $50 mail in rebate so that evens it out.

The reveiw site said it won't be out until October. I figure that if it gets a warm reception here then it may do well, but who knows

I thought I would ask what you all think about the capabilities and what you all think about Sony as a brand name on thier DVD+RW drives if anyone has one. Seems that everyone has Pioneer or Lite-on around here so I wonder if any Sony fan boys around here or if they got run off.

GK

I'd go inside my computer but it's SCSI in there
